How to Apply
Applications for postgraduate programmes should be made directly to the School.
Required documents for most programmes are as follows:

  • Completed Online Application Form
  • Digital Portfolio (Optional)
  • Statement of Intent (a concise criticalself-evaluation of your work and the reasons for wishing to join the programme at GSA, approx. 500 words)
  • Evidence of Academic Qualifications (Certified photocopies/Transcripts)
  • Academic References x 2
  • Evidence of English Language Proficiency e.g. IELTS (if appropriate)
  • Copy of Passport (if appropriate)

Application Timetable
Postgraduate applications will open on 25 October 2021, with students being able to submit a digital portfolio from mid-November. Early application is encouraged to ensure a place on a programme.

Several scholarships from the Glasgow School of Art and the School of Simulation will be available. Scholarships for 2022/23 will be advertised from March 2022 onwards. The deadline for scholarship application will be 31st May 2022.
